Licence 粤妆20161493 was withdrawn after the company made products that failed technical specifications, organised production outside good-manufacturing-practice rules, and carried on operating after regulators ordered a suspension. Revocation is the top rung of China's cosmetics penalty ladder and is rarely used; fines, confiscation and suspension are the normal outcomes. The case signals that repeated offending now escalates quickly, and that product filings die with the licence, so eight SKUs lost market access in a single decision.
