News Center · Product LaunchesFANCL Sells Boscia to a US Incubator, Which Plans a 2027 Relaunch
*Jumeili (聚美丽) · 2026-10-26 · M&A / Brand* **原文:** 知名纯净美妆要杀回来了? The Center, a beauty brand incubator, has acquired skincare label Boscia (博倩叶) from Japan's FANCL Group and will relaunch it in the first quarter of 2027 with board-certified dermatologist Dr Mamina Turegano. Terms were not disclosed. Jumeili reported the deal on 26 October, citing foreign media. Boscia was among the brands that built the original clean-beauty argument, but its China run never matched the concept's promise: it shut its North American website seven months ago and has since closed its Chinese stores, completing a retreat that began at the end of 2024. The brand is now being handed to an operator whose model is incubation rather than owned retail, with a clinician as the public face. The logic is familiar from other distressed-but-recognisable assets: the name carries residual awareness, the cost of restarting is far below the cost of building, and a dermatologist lends the ingredient claims a credibility that a founder story no longer does. Whether that survives a two-year gap in shelf presence is the open question. Detail --- The Center + Dr Mamina Turegano FANCL Group (Japan) Boscia (博倩叶) Q1 2027 Store
