News Center · Product LaunchesHongzhi Puts Five Acids and Two Enzymes Into a Body Wash
Original headline (CN): 红之推清肌焕肤香氛沐浴露,洗护赛道再落一子
Hongzhi launched its Qingji Huanfu fragranced body wash on November 4, extending a body-care line that already includes a scented shower oil-cream and disposable exfoliating towels. The formula borrows facial-skincare language wholesale: a five-acid system combining a fruit-acid complex with salicylic and lactic acids, plus two enzymes — papain and bromelain — that take over as the acids subside, a sequential polish aimed at roughness and keratosis pilaris. Salicylic and lactic acid are positioned against back and chest breakouts, with dipotassium glycyrrhizate and allantoin added to buffer irritation. The base is amino-acid surfactant for a denser foam, and the fragrance is a perfumer blend carrying a 24-hour longevity claim. The point is the direction: as facial skincare saturates, body wash has become the category where Chinese brands transplant actives, textures and claims from the face down, at mass price points and with far less regulatory friction than leave-on products. That also sets the risk — acid-and-enzyme efficacy and a 24-hour fragrance claim both need test data behind them, and wash-off formats are where marketing language most often outruns substantiation.
