**Source:** Qingyan (青眼) · **Date:** 2026-10-14 · **Category:** Policy / Industry *原文:这场十年盛会,为美妆未来发展定调!* The 10th Cosmetics Science and Technology Festival closed in Guangzhou, organised by the Guangdong Cosmetics Science and Technology Research Association under the theme 'ten years of convergence'. Ten sub-forums covered whitening, anti-ageing, oil control and acne, ingredient innovation, AI formulation and precision skincare, with the main session given over to supervision and frontier technology. Officials framed 2026 as the opening year of the 15th five-year plan and the pivot from manufacturing scale to manufacturing strength. The policy ledger presented at the event is the useful part: cosmetics market entities rose from 12,000 to 23,000 over the period, 376 new ingredients were filed or registered in five years, and the 2035 goal of becoming a cosmetics-manufacturing power is now explicit in national planning. Commercially, Qingyan's data arm told the festival that multi-benefit products already hold 31.7% of the efficacy skincare market, with evidence chains - test reports and human trial data - replacing ingredient lists as the purchase trigger.
