Source
Zhixing Consulting 2025 T-Zone Care Data Report — Taobao Nose Strip / Blackhead Liquid Brand Ranking
Period
Jan–Dec 2025
Caliber
T-zone care is an industry bundle covering nose strips, blackhead liquids, salicylic pads, clay masks and spot treatments. Only the two core sub-types — nose strips and blackhead liquids — are ranked here, on Taobao sales.
Ranking basis
Brands ranked within each sub-type by sales, top 10 each. The two sub-types are ranked separately, never combined.
Why this source
Blackhead care is not a first-level platform category, so no official leaderboard exists. Zhixing is one of few public sources that splits T-zone care into sub-types with brand-level revenue; Yinshuoshuo supplies total market size and leading shares.
Cross-check
Yinshuoshuo puts Jul 2025–Jun 2026 T-zone care across Tmall, Douyin and JD at about RMB 1.104 bn, down 0.54% YoY, with ilso leading at RMB 350m and RNW at RMB 274m (~24.8%), together about 54%. This does not contradict Zhixing's Taobao nose-strip table (RNW RMB 108m, 38.2%): different scope and sub-type.
Limitations
The category is small and crowded with white-label players; new product filings fell 21.4% to 795 in 2025, so rankings swing year to year. Platforms do not disclose SKU-level revenue, so any 'best-selling SKU' claim lacks public evidence.

What the numbers say

The category can be summed up in one line: nose strips belong to RNW, blackhead liquids belong to ilso. On Taobao nose strips RNW holds RMB 108m and 38.2% — 2.6 times the runner-up. In blackhead liquids ilso takes RMB 64.9m and 52.5%, while RNW ranks only tenth. Each guards one entry point; together they hold about 54% of the category.

The bar is rising. New T-zone filings fell 21.4% to 795 in 2025 as white-label players exited, and Proya entered in February 2026 with a botanical blackhead liquid. Competition is moving from selling a tool to selling a pore-care system.

The ceiling is equally clear: about RMB 1.1 bn online, already shrinking slightly. Nose-strip repurchase is cyclical — buy a box when blackheads appear, leave once cleared. That is why RNW repositioned from basic skincare to pore specialism in 2023.

We deliberately separate strips from liquids: different price points, usage frequency and repurchase logic. Merging them would hide the real competitive dynamic.
