**Source:** Qingyan (青眼) · **Date:** 2026-10-16 · **Category:** Legal / Trademark *原文:今年最高!"洁柔洗护"被判赔1300万* Guangdong High People's Court has issued a final ruling in the Jierou (洁柔) trademark case, ordering eight defendants to stop infringing, destroy stocks of laundry detergent, shampoo and toothpaste, and pay ¥13m to C&S Paper (中顺洁柔). It is the largest award this year in a cross-category trademark case in China's beauty and household-care sector. The core entity, Zhongshan Baisheng, and its affiliates filed dozens of near-identical marks between 2016 and 2024, including 洁柔皇, 洁柔洁宝 and 洁柔香, many of which were later invalidated, then licensed them to related companies and contract manufacturers to make detergent, shampoo, body wash and toothpaste sold through 'Jierou' flagship stores. The court treated 洁柔 as a well-known mark, applied cross-class protection and rejected the defence that a registration certificate makes use lawful. Two defendants pay the ¥13m, six more carry joint liability of ¥1m-3.5m. C&S's own personal-care push stays small: first-half 2026 tissue revenue was ¥4.35bn (+1.66%), while personal care and other business reached ¥58.8m (+18.5%), just 1.33% of sales. Det
