The 30th Central China (Wuhan) International Beauty Expo Closes, Regional Trade Momentum Continues

2026-11-05 · VRBT Newsroom

The 30th Central China (Wuhan) International Beauty Expo closed on November 4 at the Wuhan International Convention and Exhibition Center. With roughly 11,000 square meters of exhibition space, the show covered professional salon care, medical aesthetics, beauty devices, nail and lash services, aromatherapy, daily chemicals, scalp care and beauty live-commerce supply chains.

Salon care and wellness booths took a visibly larger share this year, with scalp therapy and moxibustion sections drawing dense crowds. The live-commerce supply chain zone attracted regional distributors and private-domain operators, reflecting how regional markets are converging on a hybrid model of online seeding plus offline fulfillment.

Exhibitors said buyers in central China are highly pragmatic, prioritizing value for money, repeat purchase rates and training support over prestige positioning. Distributors also noted intensifying regional competition as leading brands push downward into lower-tier markets, pushing smaller agents to seek differentiated new products at regional shows.

Organized for 30 consecutive editions, the Wuhan expo is a key window into China's regional beauty ecosystem. In November, shows in Chongqing and Kunming will follow in quick succession — a packed regional calendar that signals sustained trade demand in lower-tier markets.
