25th Kunming Beauty Expo Slated for November 19: Ethnic Heritage Meets Cross-Border Trade

The 25th Kunming Beauty Industry Expo will take place November 19-21 at the Dianchi International Convention & Exhibition Center, with over 15,000 square meters planned and some 600 domestic and international brands expected — the flagship closing event of the southwest beauty calendar.

Themed "Ethnic Renewal, Cross-Border Integration, Industry Symbiosis," the show highlights intangible-heritage craftsmanship and botanical ingredients from Yunnan and the broader southwest, pairing traditional ethnic aesthetics with modern cosmetic technology. Leveraging Kunming's gateway position toward South and Southeast Asia, it also pushes cross-border trade to bring Chinese brands out and ASEAN resources in.

Exhibits cover professional lines, mass-market products, medical-aesthetic anti-aging, wellness, imports, oral beauty, supply chains, nail/lash/tattoo services and micro-e-commerce. Organizers are activating channel networks across Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan and Guangxi, courting distributors, chain stores, clinics and KOLs with VIP matchmaking and online appointment systems.

Strategically, Kunming's cross-border play has real upside: ASEAN demand for Chinese functional skincare and light medical-aesthetics products is rising, while Yunnan's native botanicals (notoginseng, paris polyphylla and other herbs) offer a distinctive "ingredient + going-global" narrative for supply-chain players.
